A bit about me:
I have been a secondary school science teacher for over 30 years. I am passionate about inspiring young
people to realise what they can achieve and that with a bit of thought this can be incredibly fulfilling. I have been a successful
Head of Science, Deputy Head teacher and Head teacher. Through coaching I realised how to become an authentic leader and decided
to move into the role of consultancy, coaching and training as my next career path. It was important to me to gain accreditation as a coach so I studied with The
Coaching Academy to qualify with distinction. I deliver bespoke projects within educational settings to develop
leadership at a middle and senior level. I deliver training through large national training providers on coaching,
science leadership and being a great teacher at KS3,4 or 5 in Biology and Science. I am a PiXL Science Associate and have been involved in writing the 'IT'
family of resources and PPE (pre-public examinations) as well as delivering workshops. I love working with SCITT programmes or
PGCE and have been involved with OTSA, Oxon Bucks, Swindon and UWE as visiting tutor, trainer and occasional lecturer. I
have also worked in-school with Associate tutors as a mentor and coach. I am currently a Governor for the OTSA Cherwell SCITT programme. Qualifications: BSc Hons
Physiology, PGCE Science, NPQH, FRSB, PPD Coaching. |
